With just the first round of Oracle OpenWorld acceptances hitting email inboxes on June 10, Red Pill Analytics is honored to already have four sessions selected for the big show.
Kevin McGinley and myself each had two sessions selected. Kevin’s main conference selection is entitled Self-Service BI for Super Users, Session ID CON6414, discussing building a BI self-service competency around the combination of Oracle Business Intelligence and Endeca Information Discovery. My main conference selection is entitled The Time Is Now: Migrating from Oracle Warehouse Builder to Oracle Data Integrator 12c, Session ID CON4058, discussing several different technical approaches to migrating from Oracle Warehouse Builder to Oracle Data Integrator 12c. This presentation is a companion piece to the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) article I published earlier this year titled Making the Move from Oracle Warehouse Builder to Oracle Data Integrator 12c.
Kevin and I each had an additional presentation selected for the ODTUG Sunday Symposium at OpenWorld, which promises to have incredible content again this year. Kevin’s presentation is entitled The Value in Adopting Agile and CI for OBI Development and will discuss concepts like Agile Delivery for BI and analytics, as well as development operations techniques such as continuous integration. I’m speaking on Oracle Business Intelligence Development in the Cloud, and I’ll be exploring some of the same areas as Kevin, with an emphasis on innovations in multi-user development, continous integration and regression testing enabled with a cloud-based delivery model.
